Website Updates

We’ve made several updates to the website. Maps have been added to the Teams, the FTC Events, and the individual event pages. The Teams page now recognizes teams who reach specific season registration milestones, plus the Teams Table now includes a Season Count column. And finally, there is a refinement in the results when you click on a team number on any page.

Maps

To augment table data, maps have been added to the Teams, the FTC Events, and the individual event pages. These new maps are meant to be interactive. Clicking on the map markers provides additional information in a popup. A search tool helps you quickly locate a team or event. And there are several other map tools. See the tips below each of the maps for details on interacting specifically with that map. All FTC seasons have been updated with maps. And finally, a special thank you to those of you who requested that maps return to the website. Keep those comments and suggestions coming!

Team Congratulations

We are celebrating teams that are achieving major season registration milestones (5 seasons, 10 seasons, etc.). A new “Congratulations” section on the Teams page highlights these teams. Please remember to congratulate the teams and especially their coaches on their achievement.

Teams Table Season Count Column

On the Teams page, the Teams Table now includes a Season Count column. It identifies the number of seasons that the team has registered with FIRST. This count is relative to the season you are viewing. Clicking on a team’s season count will list the specific seasons (on the Team Search page).

Team Number Search Change

Clicking on a team number on any page or map popup now returns Team Search information only for the season of the page you are looking at. This refinement should provide more relevant information. To see all information about the team for all seasons, simply clear the Season field and re-execute the search.
